The EMF200 has been officially announced by Planet Eclipse. Following an accidental leak that we reported on here, the official announcement was made through a Facebook Live. As Jack Wood mentioned in the live stream this is well ahead of schedule. At this point it looked like it caught many of their fans and dealers off guard. Dealers have been filled in and presales have started.

The new EMF200 is thankfully not replacing the EMF100 and instead is offering a higher end option for mag fed and milsim paintball fans. Not only is this wonderful news for many players out there it is also at a lower price than we expected. Presales have started with the price of $895.99 which is a good deal cheaper than we guessed here.

Planet to the Core

Considering it shares the same OP Core system as their top of the line CS3 the price point is very welcome. The internal design is incredibly clever allowing toolless removal of the bolt system, POPS ASA, and regulator all at once. Given the modulatory of the system I would not be surprised to see over variations of this system in different bodies, pending the EMF200 sells as well as expected.

Metal on metal

Not only are the internals top of the line, the build quality looks top quality with aluminum construction everywhere is counts. The attention to detail does make it seem like Planet Eclipse is also gunning for the military/police training market.

If you are a milsim or scenario player there is a good chance this is the paintball gun of your dreams. A mag fed marker with top of the line internals and build quality is a welcome addition to a market with most mag fed options internal designs being nearly thirty years old. The full release is expected in June of 2025 with preorders available at your local Planet Eclipse dealer.
