The Houston Heats’ Playbook
The Houston Heats’ Playbook was put up on socialpaintball.com. It’s very good news if you are interested in the pro side of paintball. It gives you a great look into some strategy used by a pro team, which you can copy and practice with your own team. Here was some of what the original article had to say.
The Houston Heats’ Playbook
Every team that achieves excellence has a mix of good things happening for them at the right time. It takes hard work, dedication, talent and good coaching in order to reach the pinnacle of the game and transcend into mythology of a sport. This year, we have seen the rise of Houston Heat – a star studded team, with players from across the world, and a coach who is proving to be world class himself, once again. Jason Trosen is not a new face on the block, a veteran player of the now defunct Philadelphia Americans program through the early 2000?s, began coaching full time for the Americans in 2006-2010. That run includes the legendary 2009 season where the Americans took 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 2nd. Obviously, he knows how to win big, on a big-time stage.
Part of the genius of a coach is their ability to draw up plays and execute them at the right time. While we are not able to tell you when you should call upon a particular design, we can inform you of what they did, specifically on the breakout.
Well there it is… The Houston Heats’ Playbook, study well my friends. And make sure you apply it on the field! Let us know how they worked for you, or just what you think about them!

The Influence Of Paintball Cameras
How do you feel about The Influence Of Paintball Cameras in paintball? I for on, like them… Not only as someone who brings news and videos to the masses, but also as a player. Watching video is by far the best way to improve your game. The folks over at guerrillaairblog.com wrote some great thoughts on paintball cameras.
The Influence Of Paintball Cameras
…Having the “best of” and “worst of” moments captured has plenty of advantages. Paintball could actually benefit from some first-person action, not only in terms of analyzing tactics, but for making some fun YouTube videos and encouraging new players to join.
There are a few new cameras, but one is getting a lot of attention– the R7 Replay XD1080 camera by Greg Hastings is lightweight, easy to mount, and compact (it’s about the diameter of the barrel of your marker). Having a camera record in full HD for several minutes can greatly affect the way the game is viewed. It’s not only wonderful for professionals trying to improve their game, it is also highly entertaining to watch and let’s the audience feel some of that excitement the players do– making the sport more enticing for television.
Personally I think not have all those camera shots of the back of someones hopper will be amazing, if this camera mounting system catches on.

Wow this 2012 PSP Phoenix Open Footage Video is one of the best videos for paintball I have ever seen! 2012 PSP Phoenix Open Footage (Video)
Good stuff huh. There’s just too much to talk about in this one, so I’m not even going to try. I will talk about the format for the 2012 PSP Phoenix Open Footage video though. I love it! They show the match going, and get the players to talk about what was happening and their thoughts. It’s just a really good video.
